This Sylvester may be the same one that I have found in Hillsdale 1860 wife Emil?? son Daniel. Sylvester's estimated age is the same and he would more than likely have a son (Daniel) named after his father. I am going to link this information together but be warned that the wife Emil(??) and son Daniel in this family may be incorrect.

George Speed's death certificate is in book 5, page 446, in the Fayette County Court House in West Union, IA.
According to an bio of his father-in-law, The Hon. Andrew Addie, it says that George and Eva were living on the home farm. It says that it is six miles from Arlingtion. Mr. Andrew Addie had farm land in Scott Township, FayetteCo., IA, sections 1 and 13. By being only six miles from Arlingtion, I would say they lived in Section 1.
