Our Story
In 1710, the Holy Spirit led 1,140 people from the Palatinate in Germany to the East Camp along the Hudson River Valley, where they built a house of worship. From that beginning, the Reformed Church of Germantown was officially organized in 1728. Since then, this church has had three buildings, four parsonages and over thirty-four pastors. The cornerstone for our present building was laid on July 5, 1880. This church has had a long and significant ministry within the community of Germantown, New York and our denomination, the Reformed Church in America.

Was from the town of Obernhof, Hessen-Nassau (LDS records say he was born at Driedorf, Hessen-Nassau, Preussen) I also found an LDS record of a Hendrich with the same father that his
Christening was 28 AUG 1681 Obernhof, Hessen-Nassau, Preussen. I think these are the same individual one is correct wife with no father's name the other is correct father's name with no wife listed. The Obernhof location agress with Listmaster listed above.
Sailed with his wife and apparently some of his wife's relatives (Stahl) was married at sea.
