Birth Notes (Wife)

Her obituary states that she was born June 11 1843. Her death certificate syas she died May 10 1926 age 71 days 10 months 29 days. This calculates out to be a date of birth as June 11 1854. Her grave marker simply says 1853 - 1926. On her marriage certificate to E. S. Wertz (dated Oct 6 1903) she stated her age as being 51 on her next birthday. This would indicate that she was born in 1853 and, as her grave marker agrees, this is the year I have listed as as birth year.
