Introduction

I have been making stained glass stepping stones for several years now and have been asked many times how it is done. I originally purchased some books on the subject but found some of their techniques awkward or lacking in information. Have you ever read a "How To" book and wished you could ask the author questions? Now you can.  I have gone through each step of the process I use very thoroughly and have approximately 100 pictures with comments beside each one, but if this is not sufficient, you can email me and get further clarification or comments.

I have included with this course a shareware program that allows you to resize and print any pattern you scan in or one that you have already stored on your computer. Since I do not have any affiliation with this program I can not offer any technical support for it, but it is free to use until the built in time limit expires and then you will have to purchase it. I offer it here in this course only as a way to print the pattern included with this course. The program can also "fill in" pattern pieces with glass samples and give you a pretty good idea what your finished product will look like. I have even made it easy for you to download the glass samples available from Spectrum Glass (free on their website) and use them in conjunction with the resizer and printer program.
